Nevertheless, Google Maps in France does not include a functionality to report imminent radar checks since 2012. Nevertheless, Waze can notify users by indicating "danger zones," which are generally situated close to radars. Waze users also have the choice to manually report the presence of police checks or unregistered radars.

How to Keep Track of Speed Using Google Maps on Android?

The options in Google Maps differ between the Android and iOS versions. If you're using an Android device, you can activate the display of the current speed limit on the road you're on, along with a speedometer. Unfortunately, these options aren't available in the iPhone version of Maps, and there's no audible alert for exceeding the speed limit.
